ROSEBORO — Mr. Charles Ennis Strickland, 59, of 510 Hobbs St. Roseboro, died Aug. 2, 2012.

The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

Mr. Strickland was born on Feb. 13, 1953 in Sampson County to the late William and Mary Bordeaux Strickland. He was in the National Guard and a track vehicle mechanic.

He is survived by two daughters, Tonia Hope of Clinton and Rhonda Britt of Stedman; three sisters, Elizabeth Harper of Roseboro, Carol Russell of Lillington and Mary Alice Strickland of Roseboro; one brother, W.M. Strickland Jr., of Carolina Beach; three granddaughters; and one grandson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service at Butler Funeral Home.
