A northern Sampson County man is facing four felony drug charges after reportedly selling cocaine to undercover agents last week.

John Liston Bostic, Jr., 48, of 4444 North Spring Branch Road, was charged with two counts of selling cocaine and two counts of delivering cocaine after his arrest Friday.

According to reports, released Monday from the Sheriff’s Department, Bostic was arrested at his home around 6:25 p.m. after warrants were issued for his arrest in connection with the sale to agents with the Special Investigations Division.

Bostic was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Sampson County Detention Center and placed under a $20,000 secured bond. His first court date will be Aug. 17.

According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections, the suspect has previous convictions dating back to 1989. Those convictions include: driving while impaired (August 1989); possession of drug paraphernalia (January 1993); possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor breaking and entering (both from April 2002).
