Clinton youngster Austin Bradshaw makes his first successful stand on a surf board during a surfing trip with his father Jeff, pictured in background, to Kure Beach. The youngster, who made the stand just a few days before his sixth birthday, has been enjoying the water, his family said, since he was a baby.
