
Frazier honored for service
Hattie Frazier, right, was recognized at a recent Sampson County Department of Social Services board meeting for 30 years of service. Frazier retired after three decades at DSS, starting in August 1982 and serving through July 2012. DSS director Sarah Bradshaw presented Frazier with a plaque in recognition of her service to DSS and Sampson residents over the years. DSS board chairwoman Louise Ezzell read a proclamation expressing gratitude for Frazier's loyalty and devotion, as well as for 'faithfull service and dedicated efforts' toward improving the lives of community residents.
