The Chamber has a variety of partnerships across Sampson County in order to achieve our goal of “working together for total community development, and our mission of being dedicated to the economic growth of Sampson County, a healthy business community and an outstanding quality of life. We serve as a voice for the county and surrounding area businesses, uniting those who realize that through the Chamber they can accomplish collectively what no one of them can do individually.
In order to accomplish collectively, these partnerships include economic development, the Main Street economic restructuring, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the towns of Garland and Roseboro N.C. Step Committees, Christmas in the City, the Small Business Center at Sampson Community College and more.
This past week, we had our Available Properties Open House Committee Meeting in partnership with the City of Clinton, Clinton Main Street Program, the Small Business Center at Sampson Community College, Carr Real Estate Company, McCullen Group, Butler and Faircloth Real Estate and Venture Manor Realty. This event will be Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 4 until 7 p.m. in order to showcase the available properties in downtown Clinton and also have realtors available to discuss all of the available properties across Sampson County. We have been working diligently on contacting businesses and other networks that may be interested in opening up a second location and potentially creating economic growth for Sampson County.
Many of the partnerships are moving into “full swing,” such as the Chamber Coat Closet, the Christmas in Clinton Parade, and we have recently begun discussing the Small Business Summit held in January. This partnership is between the Small Business Center at Sampson Community College, the Economic Development Commission and the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce. This event is focused on ensuring the businesses of Sampson County know of the resources and financial opportunities available.
If your business is not a member of the Chamber or you would like to be more involved with these partnerships or volunteer at community events, now is a great time to give us a call. The Chamber works hard to promote commerce and a strong quality of life.
When you join the Chamber, you are joining a network of more than 350 businesses, organizations, and individuals within Sampson County.
