Horses played Triton
The Clinton junior varsity football team earned a 26-6 victory over Triton in their season opener last Thursday night on the road and not Whiteville as reported.
Coach Michael Bell inadvertently said Whiteville (which the soccer team had played the same night) instead of Triton. The Independent regrets any confusion this may have caused.
