Jackson named Woman of the Year

The Baldwin Branch Women’s Ministry 2012 Conference concluded on Sunday, Aug. 19, with the crowning of the Rev. Priscilla L. Jackson, associate minister as the 2012 – 2013 Woman-of-the-Year.  She was elected by the Baldwin Branch Women’s Ministry.  Jackson served brilliantly with great courage as the interim pastor of Baldwin Branch from May 2011 – June 2012.  She has experience in Christian Education, Church Leadership and Church Administration.  Vocationally she is the counselor/coordinator and freshman seminar instructor for the Honors Program at Fayetteville State University, where she has been employed for 15 years.  She is the daughter of Johnnie and Marie McKoy of Elizabethtown and is married to minister Ronnie Jackson.  The Jacksons have two children, LaRhonda and Jonathan and one grandson, Paris.  They reside in Fayetteville. Jackson is pictured on the left.  Baldwin Branch is located at 4047 N.C. 242 Hwy. South; Elizabethtown.  The Rev. Louie Boykin is the pastor.
