The Crusader JV girls worked hard and came close, but they weren’t able to get the home win against visiting Cape Fear Christian Academy Thursday.
The Harrells girls lost in two, 26-28 and 22-25.
Individual statistics for the JV girls were: Ashley Usher: 2 digs, 9 serves; Haley Bowles: 3 digs, 1 assist, 5 serves with 1 ace; Abigail Blanchard: 4 kills, 3 serves with 1 ace; Mary Kate Murray: 4 digs, 4 serves; Marissa Parks: 5 digs, 2 kills, 5 serves; and Laken Clifton: 2 digs, 10 serves, 2 aces.
