WILMINGTON — A memorial service for Anna Woodside Morisey will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 6, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on the corner of Market and 16th streets, Wilmington, with the Rev. Ronald G. Abrams officiating.

Following the memorial service, a reception and visitation with the family will be held in St. Paul’s parish hall.

Anna was born in Clinton, the daughter of the late Nan and Milton Woodside.

She was a graduate of Fairfax Hall High School in Waynesboro, Va., St. Mary’s Woman’s Junior College in Raleigh, and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Caison Morisey, Jr. and his wife, Vannie of Nashville, Tenn., and Kenan Woodside Morisey and Lyndsey Jessup of Wilmington.

She is also survived by two brothers, Milton Henry Woodside Jr., and wife, Ellen of Brunswick, Ga., Joseph Redmon Woodside and wife, Sydney of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Helen Woodside DuBose and husband, Charles of Clinton, Jeanne Woodside Honeycutt of Falmouth, Mass.; her beloved grandson, Master Stephen Calson Morisey III, of Nashville, Tenn.; and her longtime friend, Jeff Hurtgen of Orlando, Fla.; as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 25 South Third St., Wilmington, NC 28401 or to Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
