The Touchstone Energy Cotton Festival Photo Contest deadline will be here before you know it. If you are interested in submitting your cotton themed photos, make sure you have a copy of the rules and start taking your shots. Submissions are due to South River EMC by Friday, Oct. 12.
There are four age divisions, provided there are enough entries for each division. The photos will be divided by adult, high school, middle school and elementary school categories. For judging purposes there must be at least three photos in each category.
Cash prizes totaling $1000 will be awarded. Cash prizes for the adult category are:
1st place $400
2nd place $200
3rd place $100
The winner from each of the school categories will win a $75 cash prize. Best of Show, which can be selected from any category, will win a $75 cash prize. Best of show will be voted on the day of the Touchstone Energy Cotton Festival on Saturday, November 3 and will be contacted at a later date.

Please do not drop off photos to either the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce or the Dunn Area Tourism Authority offices.
