DUNN — Mr.Nathaniel Tucker Jr., 64, of 503 S. Washington Ave., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, Fayetteville.
Mr. Tucker was a graduate of Fayetteville State University and Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science. He founded Tucker & Sons Funeral Homes of Dunn, Eastover, and Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24 at Trinity AME Zion Church, Dunn with the Rev. Edward Hill III, officiating. Interment will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery, Godwin.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Pandora Tucker; daughter, Natalie Ferrell of Angier; son, Michael Tucker of Fayetteville; two brothers, Eric Tucker of Fayetteville and Herman Allen from Ravenel, S.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Trinity AME Zion, 700 E. Johnson St., Dunn.
