HARRELLS — Mrs. Margaret Morrison Peterson, 91 of 905 Tomahawk Hwy., died at her home, Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, at Centenary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Erin Smith, the Rev. Jim Bailey, and the Rev. John Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrells Cemetery.

Born in 1921 Sampson County, Mrs. Peterson was the daughter of the late James F. and Nettie Marley Morrison. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and was retired from the Sampson County School Food Service. She was the widow of Herman C. Peterson.

She is survived by two daughters, Jan P. Brisson and husband, Jim of Elizabethtown and Kim P. Johnson and husband, Allen of Harrells; special care giver, Jeanette Fox; three grandchildren, Cortney Brisson and wife, Tracie, Hannah Johnson and Hunter Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Marley and Dylan Grace Brisson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and other times at her home.
