FAYETTEVILLE — Mr. James Cooper Cannady Sr. 86, of 314 Fairwood Court, died on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Private family services will be held.
Mr. Cannady is survived by his daughters, Mary House and Wanda Cannady, both of Fayetteville; son, Cooper Cannady and wife, Margaret of Raleigh; sisters, Lillian Hobbs, Becky Hairr, June Dillon and Martha Hayes; two grandchildren, Tobias Cannady and Zoe Anna Cannady; and three super brother-in-laws.
He was predeceased by sister, Ruby Faircloth and a son, Bill Cannady.
James’ motto: “Do something special for someone, everyday.”
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
