The Hobbton Wildcats JV football team fell 39-6 on the road to Trask Thursday night.
Trask jumped out to a 20-6 lead going into the half and never looked back, shutting out the Wildcat offense for the final three quarters of play.
“We had a lot of guys hurt,” said Hobbton head coach Mike Barrnet. “I thought they overcame a lot of adversity to play a pretty solid game.”
Both teams were win-less before kickoff.
With the loss, Hobbton will look forward to playing at home next week vs. Lakewood. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
