CLINTON — Mrs. Hazel Gore Kimbro, 80, of 36 Wright Place, died at her home Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Alan Gibson officiating. A private burial will follow.
Mrs. Kimbro, a native of Columbus County, was the widow of Bill Kimbro and the daughter of the late Daniel Lucian Gore and Mattie Leah Hinson Gore. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. A son, William Keith Kimbro, preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Danny Kimbro and wife, Ruthie of Clinton; a daughter, Lesa K. Moore and husband, Michael of Cumming, Ga.; a sister, Bernice Reynolds of Salter Path; seven grandchildren, Ross Kimbro and wife, Sheryl, William Kimbro and wife, Tina, Billy Kimbro, Brandon Kimbro, Bryan Kimbro and wife, Amanda, Katie Huntley and husband, Ryan Kyle Kimbro; five great-grandchildren, Paige, Brittney, Hannah, Grace, and Sam.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Clinton.
