No additional information was provided for the baseball game but the Lady Spartans took their hot bats into the game at North Duplin Tuesday to earn the win with 10 Spartan batters scoring at least one run for the game.
“The girls hit really well today. We had a total of 24 hits with North Duplin only committing 2 errors,” shared Union softball coach Doug Burley. “We only had one error today and I was extremely proud of the way the girls played defense as well as the way they put the bat to the ball. Hopefully we can keep the bats hot for our game with Laney on Wednesday.”
