FAYETTEVILLE — Mrs. Betty Gray West Matthews, 69, of 5339 Austin West Road, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Sharon Baptist Church in Fayetteville with the Rev. Rob Wingo and the Rev. Larry West officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church Cemetery.
Mrs. Matthews was born on Sept. 11, 1943 in Sampson County to the late Austin and Margaret Smith West.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at home.
