GARLAND — Mrs. Thelma Ruth Peterson Melvin, 77, of 110 Reeves Road, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at her residence.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at Parkersburg Baptist Church in Garland, with the Rev. Ronnie Grizzle and the Rev. J.W. Melvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Parkersburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Melvin is survived by one son, Tommy Melvin of Garland; one daughter, Cheryl Robinson, of Garland; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
