CLINTON — Mrs. Eva Pearl Platt, 83, of 905 Layton St., died Saturday, Nov. 17 at home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Union Star Original FWB Church, Clinton, with elder Bobby Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton.
Visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home with the family present from 5-6 p.m.
Mrs. Platt is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Marie McCallop of Clinton; sons, Adolph R. Platt of the home, and Ronald Platt of High Point; sisters, Janie Lofton of Clinton, Alberta Allen of Durham, Cleo McLaurin of Baltimore, Md., and Margaret Collins of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
