FAISON — Mrs. Patsy Tyson Byrd, 65, of Fletcher St., died suddenly at her home on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Byrd of the home, and a son, Jeff Byrd and his wife, Carolyn, and two grandchildren, Brady and Tyson Byrd, all of Faison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Tyson and Christine Tew Tyson.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 26, at Faison United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jabe Largen officiating. Burial will follow in the Faison Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 25, at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m., and at other times at the Byrd residence in Faison.
