Two cited following traffic stop

A traffic stop on N.C. 403 near Pugh Road has left two men in trouble with authorities, both cited with drug possession.

David Earl Stone, 26, 4971 North Salemburg Hwy., Salemburg, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to sheriff’s reports, officers confiscated 3 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana during the stop.

Stone is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 30.

Also arrested at the traffic stop was Charles Stanley Wildkey II, 37, of 8167 Turnbull Road, Fayetteville. He, too, was charged on citation with simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a third charge of possession of an open container (of alcohol).

Confiscated, reports show, was 3 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana.

Wildkey’s court date is Jan. 30.
