Many of you have heard me use the analogy that Sampson County is like a puzzle, where each piece must fit perfectly together in order to create the complete picture, or vision. As you know, there is nothing more frustrating than working diligently on a puzzle and then stepping back and noticing you have one missing piece. That one piece, out of many, can ensure the complete picture, or vision, isn’t perfect.

The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce works hard to promote commerce and a strong quality of life through working together for total community development, or, in other words, to have a complete picture.

Each business or organization throughout Sampson County represents one of those puzzle pieces. Each puzzle piece is vital to the success of Sampson County. This year we have had“Chamber Days at least one day a month specifically for each of the municipalities within Sampson County. While I travel throughout the county multiple times each week, Chamber Days give me an opportunity to sit down and focus solely on each businesses, organization and individual throughout that municipality. We discuss not only the opportunities the Chamber provides our members but also encourage any suggestions on what we can do to enhance our member’s opportunities.

This past Wednesday, we had our Newton Grove Chamber Day followed by Garland Chamber Day on Thursday. I thank each of you that took that time to visit the town hall to discuss the Chamber or those that set aside time at their business when I stopped by. It is important that each business or organization knows of the opportunities the Chamber provides; including networking, educational, marketing and more — creating economic growth and prosperity.
