CLINTON — Mrs. Laurine Faircloth Emanuel, 94, of 981 Indian Town Road, departed life on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22 at Holly Grove Holiness Church, 1519 Indian Town Road, Clinton with the Rev. Dr. Randy Simmons, the Rev. Terry Cummings and the Rev. Roscoe A. Emanuel Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Emanuel, born in Wayne County, was the daughter of the late James Blaney Faircloth and Rhodia Strickland Faircloth and was the wife of the late Roscoe Emanuel. She was a homemaker and worked on the farm. Mrs. Emanuel was a member of Holly Grove Holiness Church.

She is survived by three sons, Roscoe Arnold Emanuel and wife, Peggie, Melvin Emanuel, and Larry Glenn Emanuel, all of Clinton; a sister, Elizabeth Carter of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two special caregivers, Alice Faison and Dianne Thornton.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m., the hour prior to the service, Saturday, Dec. 22, at Holly Grove Holiness Church in Clinton and other times at the home.
