WALLACE — Mr. Ronald Bruce “Ronnie” Judge, 64, died Wednesday Dec. 19, 2012 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, at First Baptist Church of Wallace. Burial will follow at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Oralia Judge, of the home; one daughter, Kristy Bryan and husband Jason of Wallace; one son, Michael Judge and wife Becky of Rose Hill; two grandchildren, Rebecca Michelle Judge and Brooklyn Nicole Bryan; two sisters, Ginger J. Tew of Clinton and Gail J. Ezzell of Warsaw; four nephews and one niece.
Born Oct. 4, 1948 in Duplin County, Mr. Judge was the son of Lois Stallings Judge and the late Edward Howard Judge and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallace. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Douglas Judge and a niece, Amy Renee Judge.
Mr. Judge retired from GE after 33 years of service. He worked at Smith Brothers Gas part time for seven years. His hobbies included playing golf, fishing and jogging. He loved to read books at book stores, like Books a Million; he loved and enjoyed his family and grandchildren and loved his church very much.
Casket bearers will be Tommy Stallings, Darwin Stallings, John Stallings, Glenn Walker, Jonathan Tew and Douglas Tew.
