SPRING LAKE — Mrs. Miriam Rose Royal, 51, of 359 Palomino Lane, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.

Mrs. Royal, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late John Olen Royal and Margaret Louise Keel Royal and was the widow of Joseph Allan Bruce. She was a member of Second Chance Christian Fellowship Church. A niece, Tina Bursey, predeceased her.

She is survived by a daughter, Candy Louise Royal of Spring Lake; two grandsons, Jonathan Huff and Austin Royal; a granddaughter, Angelina Royal; a sister, Marie Bursey; a brother, Dan Royal; three nieces, April Bursey, Christie Bursey and Jennifer Royal.
