Arrests


• Jan. 5 — Carl McDaniel Faison, 29, of 84 Ella Lane, Turkey, was charged with driving while impaired and left of center. Bond was set at $2,000; court date is Jan. 18.


• Jan. 5 — Thomas Anthony Maldonado, 33, of 1569 Yellow Skin Road, Autryville, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set; court date is Feb. 5.


• Jan. 5 — Jeffrey Farmer, 35, of 211 Hairr Lane, Salemburg, was charged with simple assault and communicating threats. Bond was set at $500; court date is Feb. 19.


• Jan. 5 — Robert Raynor, 45, of 781 Five Bridge Road, Clinton, was charged with unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Bond was set at $500; court date is Jan. 24.


• Jan. 5 — Lee Hawkins Allen, 72, of 12601 N.C. 96 South, Dunn, was charged with communicating threats. Bond was set at $500; court date is Jan. 23.


• Jan. 5 — Dexter Marteaz Devone Jr., 21, of 105 S. Clinton Lane, Clinton, was charged with trespassing. Bond was set at $1,000; court date is Feb. 18.


• Jan. 5 — Felisa Marquieta Bearis, 27, of 716 Sampson Homes St., Clinton, was charged on an out-of-county warrant from 2007 with harassing phone calls. No bond was set; court date is Feb. 13.


• Jan. 6 — Emmitt Ray Jackson, 23, of 4774 Roanoke Road, Clinton, was charged with assault on female, threatening phone call and cyberstalking. No bond was set; court date is Jan. 22.


• Jan. 8 — Michael Tyrone Goodman, 25, of 806 Lisbon St., Clinton, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set; court date is Jan. 22.


Incidents/investigations


• Jan. 5 — John Holloman of Mount Olive reported a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, taken from the backseat of his truck. The firearm was valued at $500.


• Jan. 5 — Donald Bordeauz and Della Knowles of Garland reported a break-in to an Autryville area home, in which there was $800 in estimated damage inflicted on a door frame, kitchen door and stair casing and a water pump and various medications were stolen.


• Jan. 6 — Henry Herring reported Tyndall Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church was the victim of a theft of copper wire, stripped from air conditioning units. The wire was valued at $200.


• Jan. 7 — Christopher Wise of Mount Olive reported a .40-caliber Ruger semi-automatic handgun stolen from him in Newton Grove. The handgun was valued at $520.
