CLINTON — Mr. Lewis Henry Smith, 69, of 46 Terrell Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A homehoing service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at St. Paul Church of Christ Disciples of Christ with Dr. Onyx Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born in 1943 in Sampson County to the late Stephen and Rosetta Brock Smith. He was retired from Murphy-Brown Inc. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Smith and Clarence Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by one daughter, Valerie Owens of Clinton; and two grandchildren.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel, and other times at the home, 46 Terrell Lane.
