ROSE HILL — Mrs. Mary Purvis Pierce, 94, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 in Durham.
The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, from the First Baptist Church, West Church Street, Rose Hill, with Dr. W.K. Raynor officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Magnolia.
Visitation of family and friends was held Saturday, Jan. 26, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., one hour prior to funeral, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
