Girls game
The Lady Crusaders didn’t fair as well as the boys, with Fayetteville Christian handing the home team a sound 5—26 thumping.
It was all Fayetteville from the start, with the visitors posting a 13-7 first quarter lead and extending the deficit to 16 by the half, at 26-10.
The Lady Crusaders put forth great effort in the game, trying to dig their way out of the first quarter hole, but they couldn’t overcome the early Fayetteville lead.
After the third period, Harrells trailed 39-26, and while they finished strong, Fayetteville still had command.
Regan Murphy, Haylee Parks, Bucky Everette and Choloe Campbell had 6 points each to lead the Lady Crusader effort. Christian Campbell scored 2.
