Gene “Tommy” Beatty Jr.

SALEMBURG — Mr. Gene Thomas “Tommy” Beatty Jr., 39, of 1404 Old Fayetteville Road, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, at Lakewood High School, Salemburg, with Pastor Freddie Herring officiating. Burial in Faircloth-Herring Memorial Garden, Salemburg.

The visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 15, from 1-7 p.m., at Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral home, Clinton

Mr. Beatty is survived by his wife, Kizzie Beatty of Teachey; sons, Jawan Beatty of Salemburg, Everett Newkirk of Newton Grove, and Jaheim Beatty of Teachey; parents, Gene and Elaine Beatty, Sr. of the home; grandparents, Minora Williams of Salemburg, and Ira Webb of Salemburg.
