In Matthew 6:34, Jesus says “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take though for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Oh my, how hard it is to walk in this verse each and every day. Jesus is simply saying “don’t worry about tomorrow,” let it be. This is not easily done when we live in a socially media driven world that is forever predicting this or that is going to happen. Let’s face it, “fear” can cripple your “faith” which can drive you to worrying. God would desire that we live one day at a time, focusing on the many blessings that he has given unto us through his son Jesus Christ.

When we place our trust in him, and know that he is the source of life, it is then when you know that your needs will be supplied. There is not one time that you can name that God didn’t make a way when it seemed like a way could not be made. It’s time to get anchored in the word of God, which can cast down those thoughts of worrying about tomorrow.

Yes opening up your Bibles and reading it can calm your nerves about tomorrow. It’s a subject that is not talked about much now behind the pulpit. Perhaps it’s time for you to read the Bible for yourself and not depend solely on the preacher so much.

If Christians would open up there Bible more and learn the word of God, and get it deeply rooted in their spirits and hearts, it will make a difference in their walk with Christ. Stop worrying about tomorrow and its issues; if the Lord brought you through today, trust that he will bring you through the next day. Be thankful for today, give God the praise for it, and remember that “No weapon that is formed against you shall not prosper” even those that are already devised.

God is already in our tomorrows so let bless his name for bringing us through.
