CHINQUAPIN — Last week, North Carolina author Helen E. Bingham celebrates the nationwide release of her new children’s book, “Nanny Tess and Emma’s Distress.”

The book takes readers on a journey into the thoughts of the two main characters in the book: Nanny Tess, who encounters a pit bull named Emma with very bad behavior and Emma, who doesn’t understand what the problem is with her behavior, which causes her great distress. Young readers find out if Emma will learn the proper way to behave in this engaging story.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

This is also an eLIVE title, meaning each book contains a code redeemable for a free audio book version from TatePublishing.com. eLIVE – Listen, Imagine, View, and Experience!

Bingham has enjoyed working with children both personally and professionally more than 30 years. This book, the first of several behavior books to come, is based on a true story when she worked as a nanny for a family with four dogs. Bingham has three dogs and lives with her husband, Nathan, on a farm in Chinquapin.
