Community Male Chorus celebrating 66th anniversary Saturday

The Community Male Chorus of Clinton will celebrate their 66th anniversary Saturday, March 2, at the Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church, beginning at 6 p.m. The church is located on Odom Road. Various groups will sing, including Sampson Chapel Disciples male chorus; Cedar Point Disciples male chorus, Robinson Chapel male chorus, Point Level male chorus of Clinton, First Baptist Male chorus of Roseboro and Union Grove male chorus of Keener. Don’t miss this big celebration.

Regular morning worship service will be held at the Little Piney Grove Church Sunday, March 3, beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Alice Jean Boykin will bring the message and the youth choir will provide the music. Don’t miss this service.

The members of Mt. Calvary Holiness Church and pastor Ruby Boykin will celebrate their 20th church anniversary March 7-8 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. On March 7, the speaker will be the pastor of Jesus Christ Temple Church in Clinton, and on March 8, pastor Thira Peterson of North Carolina Prayer Tower of Clinton will be in charge of the service and on March 9, the Rev. Roger Robinson of the Greater Macedonia Church of Wilmington will be the guest.

On Sunday, March 3, morning worship service will be held at Snowhill Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. S.E. Bryant will bring forth the morning message and the senior choir will render the music. The pastor’s anniversary will be held Sunday, March 10. We will have more about the pastor’s anniversary later.

Regular morning worship service will be held at the Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, March 3 at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Jeffrey White, will bring the morning message and the senior choir will render the music.

The Friendly Trio, along with the church association, will give away food bags Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Friendly Community Center.
