The Snowhill Missionary Baptist Church of Roseboro will be celebrating their pastor’s third anniversary Sunday, March 10, beginning with the 11 a.m. worship service. The speaker will be the Rev. A Ushers Anniversary will be held at the Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Keener Sunday, March 24 at 4 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. The Friendly Trio, along with the Church Association, will be giving out food bags Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

First Baptist, 900 College St., is celebrating its 143rd church anniversary with a banquet on Friday night, March 8, at 7 p.m. at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center. The guest speaker will be Dr. Jeremiah Wright, pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago, and the Big 4 Choir of Winston-Salem will provide the music. The celebration will continue Sunday, March 10, at the church, with the Rev. Dr. Rickey Harvey Sr., pastor of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Rochester, N.Y. as the 11 a.m. speaker. The Daughters of Fulfilling a Destiny Ministry’s women’s conference will be held Saturday, March 9, at Littlefield Church at 9 a.m. with the women’s workshop on Sunday.
