The Snowhill Missionary Baptist Church of Roseboro will be celebrating their pastor’s third anniversary Sunday, March 10, beginning with the 11 a.m. worship service. The speaker will be the Rev. First Baptist, 900 College St., is celebrating its 143rd church anniversary with a banquet on Friday night, March 8, at 7 p.m. at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center. The guest speaker will be Dr. Jeremiah Wright, pastor emeritus of Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago, and the Big 4 Choir of Winston-Salem will provide the music.
