4/15 - Willie Monk, 43, 2559 Smith Road, Fayetteville, sell cocaine, deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for the sell of cocaine. Monk turned himself in at the Sampson County Detention Center. Bond $65,000; court dates of April 30 and May 13 listed.
4/15 -The front window of WCLN-1170 AM radio in downtown Clinton was smashed and items stolen sometime overnight Sunday. The incident was reported to police around 6 a.m. Monday. Taken during the break-in was a 27-inch television valued at $450 and a camcorder valued at $350.
4/15 - Jose Gomez, Lake Artesia Road, reported that someone kicked in his front door, entered and took a HP laptop valued at $450; a 51-inch flat screen TV valued at $600; a 36-inch flat screen TV with DVD player valued at $300; a 32-inch flat screen TV valued at 300; a 32-inch flat screen TV valued at $200; assorted jewelry, including bracelet, necklace and earrings, value at $3,400; passports and Social Security cards. Damage to the door was estimated at $335.
4/15 - Robert Lee, Harnett-Dunn Highway, reported that someone entered his residence and removed a 12-gauge shotgun valued at $500 and an SKS assault rifle valued at #750.
4/15 - Owners of Williams Construction, Hobbton Highway, reported that someone pried open a window to gain entry into the business and took a weedeater valued at $160, four nail guns valued at $600; a 3-inch sander valued at $120, a 5-inch sander valued at $30; a router valued at $200; three cordless nail guns valued at $900; and a stain kit valued at $200.
