SPIVEY’S CORNER — The Sampson Middle School softball team traveled to Midway Middle on Wednesday with the Lady Raiders earning a 15-8 win from the Lady Dark Horses. Midway softball coach Sam Kitchin said, “We had several key hits from Kaitlyn Jackson, Jada Cannady and Natasha Tyndall. Elizabeth McCullen and Cassidy Strickland made strong bunts for us while our defense played a very good game. Sampson Middle is a much better team than in years past and it was good to get this win.”
