The Clinton Recreation and Parks Department is busy getting into the swing of things quite literally as baseball begins this week and soccer will be kicking off their Spring League Tournament.
CRPD director Judi Nicholson stated that the activities are picking up and she is encouraging everyone to come and participate. “Clinton Recreation provides a large amount of activities for everyone. It is a great way to get back in shape after sitting around during the cold winter months. Whether you come cheer on your favorite team, coach, participate in one of the many activities we have for children and adults, there is something here that will interest you and help you to get and stay in shape.
Activities for next week at the Clinton Recreation Department include: Baseball beginning for 9-10 year old on Monday, April 20 and for the 11-12 year olds on Tuesday, April 21. The Spring Soccer League Tournament will also begin on Tuesday, April 21/
The Mixed Martial Arts Class meets Tuesday and Thursday at the Sampson Community Center from 4-5 p.m. and new students are always welcome to join.
The digital photography will class begin Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bellamy Center.
Softball, Teeball, and Coach Pitch begin May 11.
