Hobbton’s ‘Cats
The lady Union Spartans defeated Hobbton 21-0 in five innings Tuesday night in high school play.
Union scored five runs in the first, six in the second and 10 in the third.
Union coach Dough Burley reported 23 hits for the team. “Everybody just showed up. Everybody on the starting lineup had at least two hits. The girls did a really job hitting the ball. You can’t ask for anthing more than that. And our pitchers did an excellent job.”
