DUNN — The Rev. Petray “Ray” Merritt, 71, of 100 E. Moon Circle, formally of Sampson County, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at his residence.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in Delway. Burial will follow at church cemetery.
Visitation will he held Monday, May 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel in Dunn.
