Sarah Haight, of Roseboro, was crowned Miss North Carolina Outstanding Teen's Carolina Princess Thursday afternoon during the Miss North Carolina competitions.
Haight was chosen to attend Miss North Carolina as a Carolina Princess by Mary Warren, Miss Greater Sampson County’s Outstanding Teen. Haight will make a special appearance Friday at the Miss North Carolina Outstanding Teen pageant and will go on to compete in the Miss America Outstanding Teen Carolina Princess pageant later this year.
Also from Sampson County, Samantha Monk won first runner-up in the Miss North Carolina Carolina Princess pageant. Monk attended the Miss North Carolina with Tiffanie Wagner, Miss Greater Sampson County.
