Local teen wins talent award in Miss North Carolina Outstanding Teen Pageant

Mary Warren, Miss Greater Sampson County’s Outstanding Teen, won the preliminary talent award Thursday night in the Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen Pageant. She tied with Ashley Arizaga, Miss Wake County’s Outstanding Teen. Warren performed a clogging routine to a remix of Michael Jackson songs. Finals for Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen are tonight.
