According to reports, deputies were called to 55 Calico Lane in Autryville at 11:30 p.m. Monday night to investigate a domestic disturbance call.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found Nalleli Taxilaga-Olea, 25, saying she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, Jose Ramon Torres-Ventura, 31, also of the Calico Lane address.
Investigators said Taxilaga-Olea, who is 21 weeks pregnant, claimed Ramon-Torres was drinking and wanted to leave the home, but she wouldn’t let him because he was inebriated. An argument ensued and Ramon-Torres allegedly assaulted her and then took their child, 4-year-old Ramon Marlon Torres. He also threatened to harm Ramon if she called authorities.
On his way out of the home, reports state that Torres-Ventur pushed an 8-year-old child out of his way. The boy did not suffer any injuries as a result.
Taxilaga-Olea was taken to Sampson Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released suffering minor injuries.
An Amber Alert was immediately issued. It was, however, called off early Tuesday morning when Taxilaga-Olea called deputies again telling them that Torres-Ventura had returned to their Autryville home with the boy.
Deputies responded and took Torres-Ventura into custody without incident.
Torres-Ventura was charged with domestic assault on a female; domestic communicating threats; injury to personal property and assault on a child under 12 years of age.
He was given no bond on the domestic charges and a $5,000 bond for the assault on a child offense. He will go to trial on July 21.
Investigators noted that the 4-year-old was not injured during the incident.

you don't see royalty strutting, just trashy people, hey? Too bad you see it that way, ya know, there's always an alternative to living in Sampson...
Would either one of you elitists ever go in the field NOW, not years ago , now and work the way these people work? You two and the rest of the white and black establishment would consider work like this beneath you. That only uneduacted and unsophisticated people would do this work. You people are pathetic and make me sick. I don't see royalty strutting around Sampson County, just trashy people.
JAFS
I DO live in Autryville, am proud to call Autryville home/ always have. I am white and get up off my "lazy" butt and go to work every day...
how bout you, or does my tax money support you?
It is a little prejudice to jump the gun and assume they are illegal. If that be the case, then everyone needs to go back where they came from, and let the Native Americans have their land in peace. Which also means that most of the hispanic people get to stay, because some of this land was originally theirs' as well.
While this is an issue about the child, let me get back on subject. Maybe it would be best for the child and siblings, if any, to be taken away from the parents. It seems that the father is a dangerous man, and the mother is not doing much to help the situation. If the child(ren) where born here, then they are citizens. If the parents are illegal, then immigration needs to step in. Either way, it is about the kid(s) and what is best for them. Even though being in the system may not be the best thing, it is better than being dead....I'm just saying.
THAT -IS -THE -PURPOSE -OF -AN -AMBER -ALERT!
The ignorance of these comments is no doubt an example that you all should be in a zoo somewhere!
Send them all back to where they came from with a GPS implanted in them. I don't care how many of them were born here. They are probably on Food Stamps, WIC and Medicaid while our Senior Citizens are not eligible for the same benefits. I am sorry this happened but if you lay with dogs or drunks you will get fleas and beaten.
