Zion Church

PFWB Church 2009 Camp Meeting will be Sunday, July 26 through Sunday, Aug. 2, at PFWB Church Conference Tabernacle in Dunn at 6 p.m. on Saturday and both Sundays and 7:30 p.m. all other evenings. There will be music and different speakers each night, nursery available at Long Branch fellowship hall and Kids Camp Meeting provided for children ages five to 10 at HBC Chapel.

of Christ Church

Joy Night Service will be July 17, 7:30 p.m., with bishop Steven Smith speaking, accompanied by choir and church family of Cornerstone Ministries of Princeton. The Women’s Ministry will sponsor a yard sale on July 18, 6:30 a.m., at the church. The Men’s Ministry will sponsor tag team service on July 19, 4 p.m., with elder Eddie and minister Angela Parker and elder Wilson and eldress Wilson speaking. Vacation Bible School will be July 22-25, 6 p.m. Family and Friends Day will be July 25, 12 p.m., with lots of food and games.

St. John AME Zion Church

Family and Friends Day will be Sunday, July 26. The Rev. Jimmy Melvin will deliver the morning sermon, followed by lunch in the fellowship hall. The Rev. Lester Fisher, pastor of Sam Springs AME Zion Church, will be the guest speaker for the 3 p.m. service.
