Arrests

• 8/26 — Jerry Dewayne Benson, 43, of 119 West Roseboro St., Roseboro, was charged with making harrassing phone calls. Benson was given no bond and a trial date of Sept. 15.

• 8/26 — Charles Ennis Strickland, 56, of 1561 Elizabethtown Highway, Roseboro, was charged with second degree trespassing; disorderly conduct; and resisting a public officer. Strickland was given an $8,000 bond and a trial date of Sept. 22.

• 8/26 — Cheryl Braybox, 39, of 8030 Old Warsaw Road, Turkey, was charged with second degree trespassing. Braybox was given no bond and a trial date of Sept. 2.

• 8/26 — Kenneth Allen Price, 19, of 707 Clearwater Drive, Smithfield, was charged with assault on a female. Price was given no bond and a trial date of Sept. 15.

• 8/26 — Andrew Clough, 32, of of 8030 Old Warsaw Road, Turkey, was charged with second degree trespassing. Clough was given no bond and a trial date of Sept. 2.

Incidents/Investigations

• 8/26 — Anya Owens, of Clinton, reported a larceny. Reported stolen was an LG plasma television valued at $4,100; a blue 2-seat Durango go cart valued at $800; a AC window unit valued at $600; and a set of 15” aluminum car rims valued at $600.

• 8/26 — Jesse Lee, of Clinton, reported a breaking and entering. Reported damaged was a metal door and frame valued at $368.

• 8/26 — Darlene Stanley, of Clinton, reported a scam. The item was a $4,700 prize check from Fidelity Trust.

• 8/26 — Vernon Jones, of Clinton, reported a breaking and entering and larceny. Reported stolen was a $350 money clip that included cash and insurance cards; a $500 Playstation 3 game system (black in color); a $300 XBox 360 game system (gray in color); and damage to a window pane valued at $165.
