AUSTINVILLE, VA. — Mr. Danny Ray Bradshaw, 58, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009. He was the son of the late Theodore Bradshaw and Claudia McCullen Bradshaw. Born in Sampson County on Dec. 10, 1950, raised in the Sharecake community. A 1969 graduate of Hobbton High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marines. He attended Bethany United Methodist Church in Austinville.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by sisters, Edith Bradshaw and Lillian K. Wise; and brothers, Sherrill Bradshaw, Leslie Bradshaw and Ted Larry Bradshaw.
Survived by his wife, Debra Bradshaw of the home; sisters, Peggy Aman of Clinton, Jo Ann Thornton of Franklin, N.C.; and a brother, Roy Bradshaw of Dunn.
Mr. Bradshaw was cremated.

William T. Stokes, 60
WILLARD — Mr. William Thomas Stokes, 60, of 250 Tate Road, died Sunday, Sept. 6 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m., from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, N.C., Saturday, Sept. 12 with the Rev. Larry Hooks officiating. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Magnolia.
A viewing will be on Friday, Sept. 11 at Rose Hill Funeral Home from 6–7 p.m.
