A Dunn man who was taken into custody last week after being caught attempting to break into a senior citizen’s home, then her vehicle, before being chased on foot by three deputies and subsequently tased, was given additional charges late Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Jeremy Lee Loving, 21, of 48 Jernigan Trail, Dunn, who was already being confined at the Sampson County Detention Center on charges of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle; breaking and entering and resist, delay and obstructing an officer after the incident last Monday night, Sept. 8, was given two additional charges Friday — for misdemeanor larceny and larceny.
Loving was given a $1,000 bond for the incidents and a trial date of Sept. 28.
For the incident last week, Loving was previously given a $20,000 bond and will have a trial date of Sept. 18.
