Lakewood and Midway went head-to-head Friday, leaving the entire game scoreless until the Raiders got on the board with a field goal with less than 3 minutes to play, ending it 3-0.
According to reports, Midways Chad Allen kicked a 35-yard field goal with 2:27 left in the fourth quarter.
As for stats, Midway had 123 rushing yards compared to Lakewood’s 56; and Midway had 23 passing yards compared to Lakewood’s 120.
Individually, Midway’s Aaron Thurman had 20 rushes for 76 yards; Chad Allan had one reception for 12 yards; and quarterback Jonathan Poole was 4 for 6 for 23 yards.
This advances Midway’s record to 4-2.








Give all of the teams what they are due instead of focusing on the select few that always have the longest write up.
