From churches to businesses to schools and even the prison, everyone is getting excited to see how many steps they can log and how many miles we as a community can walk. Last year, over 480 miles were logged at the trails and the prison. This year, we want that number to be over 500 miles! 70 to 75 percent of Sampson County’s adult population is overweight or obese, so our walking trails should be packed with people wanting to make a difference in their lives and set a positive example for the loved ones around them. So gather your people and come take part in an annual event that will actually improve your health!
