Matt 18:18 Jesus says “verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall lose on earth shall be lost in heaven.”

Saints of God, I would like to ask you a question today that I hope you’ll search your hearts out for. It’s a simple question, are you losing or binding your breakthrough? Think about that for a few minutes. Wouldn’t you like to know what’s been holding back your blessings from God? Jesus would speak these words in such a calm but powerful way.

So many of God’s people blame Satan for their blessings when they don’t come. Now we are not to glorify anyone but God and him alone. But if you give Satan credit for saying things such as “the devil does not want me to have this or that,” he will surely take credit.

That is why we must renew our speaking as well as our minds. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you start speaking life into your situation and watch how things change. God says if we were to live according to his word, then he will bless us in every way. Saints of God, there is no getting around from living the way God says to live. All of these books seen today about how to live life and reach your destiny are leading people the wrong way.

Jesus said in Matt 24:35 “ heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” That means all of the fly by night books and ideals will be gone, but God’s word will still be here. God’s word has been tried on and tested throughout the ages, and yet, it still stands above all. Simply what Jesus is telling his people to do is to release some things. God says “ let the bitterness, envy, unforgivenes and pride, go so he can bless you.”

Binding or losing, we fit into one whether we want to admit it or not, we are in one. Search your hearts today and ask Jesus to show you yourself from the inside out, to see what’s holding back your breakthrough.

When God shows you what’s been holding back your breakthrough, ask him for help. It is one thing for him to show you and another to ask for help. He wants you to ask for help, and you can’t do this alone. I could only name a few things holding back our blessings, but truely only you and God know what it could be. Lose it and watch God bring a harvest in your life like never before. Heaven is ready to release it’s promises to you, so keep walking in obedience and watch what God does.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for this word. Help us lose the things here on earth, they remain lost in heaven. In Jesus name, Amen.
