A Roseboro man who assaulted three people, jumped into his car and ran into two more vehicles, was arrested Saturday after deputies apprehended the man, believed to be under the influence of a impairing substance.

Mitchell Clayton Parker, 32, of 1225 Microwave Tower Road, Roseboro, was charged with four counts of simple assault; one count of breaking and entering; three counts of injury to personal property; and two counts assault on a female after entering a home in Roseboro, assaulting two females and a male and then running out the back door.

According to officials with the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office, Parker entered the back door of the home of an “acquaintance” and allegedly hit the two females in the head, causing one to receive stitches, and the male before running out the back door.

Parkerthen allegedly jumped into his car, backed into a car and then hit a truck before driving directly into the back yard of a nearby residence, tearing up a fence and grass in the process.

Neighbors came out to stop Parker and subsequently fought with him before deputies arrived on the scene.

Parker was taken to Sampson Regional Medical Center and then taken to the Sampson County Detention Center where he was charged and given a $15,000 bond. Parker was also given a trial date of Nov. 16.

LOL way to go anonymous! I told you Sherry hates it when people like what Lafus writes. She did exactly what I knew she would....cleaned his profile out AGAIN! Sherry will you ever get over this petty personal vendetta?

SIStrumpet, I'm not praising lafus. I'll bet you $100.00 to $1.00 that no one wants to be related to this "crackpot". Would you come forward and claim this? I hope not. That would really set lafus off.

We all need a good laugh every now and then (sorry Mr. Parker. Thanks lafus for making my day

Anonymous be careful praising Lafus and his wise crack comments...it will offend Sherry and she will go on the rampage again censoring all comments.

What drug house did this "booger" come out of? That's what you call a "blue eyed booger". Those flash bulbs scrared the crap out of him. Looks like no bath water has been on him for a few days

Now he's funny, I don't care what nobody says

Priceless....so where is Sherry? She must be sick or on vacation as fast as these comments went through. But then again, these folks aren't exactly the uppercrust of SampCo either. Farva you knew Lafus was foaming at the mouth to comment when he saw this one. By the way, we have A'ville, R'boro should we have C'ton as well or is that just beneath those folks?

Where is Donna Bailey HYPHEN Taylor? This is "Truly Sampson County". Are you kidding me? I don't even know where to begin with this. My only statement is "WOW!". Please, Sampson Independent, please, keep giving us stories like Mitchell Parker. Obviously, there is a Junkyard lane Roseboro.
